The sound system needs work!
"Mayer threw out his back prior to the event -- injured himself. The thought crossed my mind that it would be unfair to say he 'mailed in the performance'. Blue Oyster Cult likes to talk a lot, and the sound system was so over-driven that at best we understood 40% of what he was saying. His strained/odd phrasing made it hard to sing along, and Blue Oyster Cult's vocal performance was below-average. I made the comment that his music sounded a lot better on my iPod, but his hard-core fans loved it. Expected a better overall show, with more electricity and connectivity, like others we have seen. Not a good outturn. Poor air circulation with a full house, the food sucks, service was adequate. Unless the act is so special we just have to put up with the place, not a venue we will willingly buy again. We love Blue Oyster Cult and would travel even further to see him again if the venue showcased his talents better."
